Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is a form of physical therapy that uses water’s properties to assist animals where rehabilitation, exercise, and recovery are needed. The viscosity, buoyancy, and resistance in water positively affect muscle strength and pain management. With reduced contact force and pressure, discomfort, and inflammation on joints, bones, and muscles is avoided.

Lola’s Lagoon is a purpose built heated hydrotherapy pool with ramp entry & exit for fun & fitness swims for your dog set in the Cheshire countryside. Our Hydrotherapists get in the water & assist all our dogs in their swims to get the most out of their sessions!

Hydrotherapy is great exercise for great and small breeds alike as it is a weight free, low-impact form of exercise.
